About One God ~ One Voice
Our Mission
One God~One Voice’s mission is to entertain as well as promote Christian based principles through the presentation of a variety of sacred and secular music.
Our History
One God~One Voice is an Ecumenical choir comprised of members from in and around Frederick County, Maryland. Originally formed as the Christ Reformed Community Choir in 1997 to perform in Vienna, Austria as part of the annual Advent Festival, the choir expanded membership beyond the original participants. Today our membership represents a growing cross section of vocations and ages and with members from Frederick County and Washington County.
While most One God~One Voice’s performances are local to the Frederick area, One God~One Voice has returned to Europe several times to perform. Some notable performances include a Papal Audience performance in St. Peter's Square, Melk Abby in Austria as well as performances at one of the memorial sites at the Dachau Holocaust concentration camp. Additionally, One God~One Voice has twice performed at the White House during their Christmas tours. In the Spring of 2022 One God~One Voice presented a benefit concert to raise funds to support the Ukrainian relief effort.
